Lambda Alpha Lambda is always interested in accepting new members into the organization but like other Greek organizations, prospective members must undergo a recruitment process before they are eligible for full membership. The recruitment process will take place during Fall and Spring semesters and will entail various training sessions, important meetings, and other necessary membership requirements.

Applications for Lambda Alpha Lambda Diaternity are not rolling.
Applications Open 2 Months before the start of Spring & Fall Semesters and Close January & September 15th

Membership Requirements
Listed below are the requirements for all Prospective Members and general members as well:
1) All dues must be paid after acceptance
2) Members must maintain a Grade Point Average of a 2.5 or higher.
3) Support, advocate, and be knowledgeable of the queer community and their allies.
4) Members are encouraged to have some previous involvement with the queer community.
5) Commit to a minimum number of required community service hours.
6) Participate in the Training Seminars prior to full membership *(Training Seminars are required of all Prospective Members)
7) Attend required Lambda Alpha Lambda events and/or meetings.

Recruitment Process

1) Applicants must complete an interview within two weeks following the due date, applications will be reviewed and candidates will be notified if they earned an interview.
2) The Applicant will be subject to an interview with one or more of the members of either the Executive Committee.
3) Within one week of an Applicant's interview, they will be notified as to whether or not they have been accepted for Prospective Membership status.
4) Once Prospective Membership status is accepted, the individual will undergo Training Seminars during the following semester which include but are not limited to:
After completion of all necessary requirements, Prospective Members will go through Commencement where they will be inducted as official Members of Lambda Alpha Lambda Diaternity.

- Prospective Member Evaluations
- Safe Space Training
- Leadership Workshop
- Domestic and Intimate Partner Violence
- Diversity Training
- Participation in a Day of Service
After completion of all necessary requirements, Prospective Members will go through Commencement where they will be inducted as official Members of Lambda Alpha Lambda Diaternity.
